Central Theme of “I Will”

This piece was inspired by the connection between the world and those who live in it. I believe there is a yearning to make a difference despite feeling lonely and lost at times. We strive to be different while at the same time longing to fit in. Music can bridge the gap between cultures and my hope is that it can bring light and hope to our world. I feel so honored that any choir should choose to perform my music and my wish is that while singing this pieces musicians will feel connected to one another and can find a way to leave their differences behind at the start of bar one!
